Obviously we’re nearing the end of the year here and as I’ve explained before, I don’t really have any gear to be running when it’s cold. This is because I never really was much a runner and I avoided cardio all together.
Since I’m back in the gym during the colder months, I figured I might as well just use a dummy proof plan. I’m pretty busy taking on a side project right now as well as my regular work schedule, so I think making my gym life as easy as possible would be best.
I can’t quite decide if I want to do Kris Gethin’s 12 Week Hardcore Trainer or Jim Stoppani’s Shortcut to Shred. Both are temporary solutions and look appealing to me…
I’ll just be honest with you guys. In the next 2 weeks, I’m expecting to receive $2500 from this side project. Not only that, but I’m hoping I get my bonus from work which should be about $4000 before taxes (so we’ll call it.. $2000 in my pocket to be safe). After doing my taxes, I’m hoping I have enough cash to get a personal trainer. Not at the 24 hour fitness, but at a warehouse gym I found. Just a no bullshit gym I can go to, train hard as fuck and call it a day… ya know?
That’s my update today… just thinking of what I want to do at the beginning of the year. I’m also off my current supplements til the new year. Once the new year comes, I CAN FINALLY START MY ONNIT SUPPS!!!! I’m excited about that…
It was back and biceps today at 4:45am. My back is still fairly weak and tender… I mean I can pull weight, but the pump happens quick as hell and I just can’t go for reps the way I used to. Maybe it’s time I lighten the load and start from scratch.
LAT Pulldowns x 5 Sets
Preacher Curls (superset w/ dumbbell curls) x 5 Sets
Barbell Row x 4 Sets
Standing Barbell Curls (superset w/ dumbbell curls) x 4 Sets
30min. Walk/Run Interval
Not too bad. After work today I’ll get in a kettlebell/back/bicep circuit. Know what that means? All this hard work?
I GET TO EAT SOME FUCKING CHIPOTLE!!!
